The girls helped me dip strawberries to take to work for our Easter carry-in dinner at work. The strawberries are always a big hit. We had a fabulous meal...ham, potato casserole, green beans, pasta salad, broccoli rice casserole...and we all ate ourselves into stomach aches. Of course, then there was carrot cake, sour cream peach pie, and the strawberries for dessert.
Labor and delivery was fairly quiet yesterday, and we only had one "bunny baby." Interestingly enough, the baby's big brother was born on July 4th, so that mom only has holiday babies, I guess.

Thomas' friend, Taylor, spent Friday night with us. He and his mom drove up from Steele for the weekend. Taylor's dad was our high school principal, but took a superintendent position down in Steele and they left this past summer. It's about a 5 hour drive. They make frequent trips up here, though, and Taylor has spent some time with us each time.

It amazes me how much Taylor has changed since the summer. He's grown several inches, it seems, and his voice has changed a lot.
It's supposed to rain off and on all day. Good day to curl up with a good book. I'll be napping later this afternoon, as I signed up to work an extra shift tonight.
I made Thomas' appointment with the orthodontist, and we go there tomorrow morning at 10:30. I'll get home from work about 8 and sleep just a little and then go pick him up at school and take him in.

Mmm... Hayden even liked the photos of the chocolate covered strawberries.
I saw a photo of you, on my friend Jennifer Thoma's page... you delivered their baby, Casper Boone, last week!!! I love them and I'm so happy for their little miracle baby. How exciting that you were part of their special day, too!
