I know. OUCH. This isn't my foot, but this is what I got to do on Friday. Cortisone injections for my heel pain. I finally decided it was time to go to a podiatrist, after MONTHS of heel pain.
~
Ever kicked a podiatrist in the head? I almost did as she poked around on my feet and hit the "hot spot." Oh. My. Gosh. It hurt SO bad.

Plantar fasciitis is the diagnosis, she gave me the cortisone injections and a prescription for physical therapy, twice a week for two weeks. I go at 8AM tomorrow for my first session. She also taped up my arches with a special padding to support the arches to wear for a few days.

Thankfully, the injections have helped SO much, but I know it probably won't be permanent relief. I've just got to stick the therapy and see what happens. I've had just a twinge of pain since the injections.
