Boooo! Today is the last day of summer! I'm not ready for schedules, deadlines, and routines. I want sleeping in, breakfast at 11AM, hanging out at home, floating in the pool, and staying up late.

Sunday night we had the Grovers over for an end of summer BBQ and swimming. (Though Mary and Mia were the only ones who got in the pool.) Poor Amy was struggling with a migraine and didn't feel too good. She and big Dayton left and Mary and little Dayton stayed until around 10 or so.

Mia and I stopped by the middle school this evening for Open House. She wanted to practice her locker combination, which she did. Again, and again. And again. And again.

Summer's over. I'm not happy about it.
