I took this photo at Thomas' game tonight. We lost to Harrisburg. Tomorrow night we have a home game.

Last week our boys took 3rd in the Harrisburg tournament. Their game went into overtime and everything. I was sorry to have missed it, as I was working and it was an earlier game.

Posted by PicasaI feel like a little weight has been lifted off my shoulders....I got started on my Christmas shopping today. I think I'm getting into the spirit. Seemed a little weird to be 60 degrees outside while Christmas shopping. The Christmas music in the mall got me in the spirit, though.
Why is it that I always find things to buy for myself when I'm Christmas shopping. Probably because I don't shop for myself much throughout the year, and then I see all kinds of neat stuff that I like.
I redeemed my gift certificate for my massage that my friend Tami gave me for my birthday after I got finished shopping. Wow. I could sooooo be a massage junkie. It was awesome. I know at one point I fell asleep. I felt totally relaxed when I left there. I might have to treat myself to one once in a while.
We got Sydney registered for classes at Moberly Community College last week. The great news? All of her classes are in Columbia! How cool is that?? Even cooler? It's through the A+ program so it's basically free.
My photography business is picking up. I have weddings booked for Dec., Feb., June, and two in September. (THANKS MOM, for referring me to Crystal through Stacy!) I'm very excited with the way this is taking off. I'm also doing engagement photos for one of the Sept. wedding couples.
Ran into a bit of a problem, though. The Billy Joel/Elton John concert that I have tickets to for Dec. 1 was postponed until Feb. 27....the day I have a shoot. AGGGGHHHHH!!! I decided to sell the tickets to the concert, rather than get a reputation for backing out of the shoot.... people talk, you know. It wasn't really a hard decision....I am just really disappointed that I won't get to go to the concert. I had no trouble selling the tickets, either, which is good. My friends Molly and Leslie bought them. It's not scalping if you sell them for less than what you paid, is it?
At least I still have Tim McGraw to look forward to at Mizzou Arena in February.
