3v3 Soccer Tournament

When I woke up this morning and heard rain pounding on the roof, I was certain the soccer games would be cancelled for the day. Boy was I wrong! Since the field is artificial turf, the games were played. So there we were, in 45 degree, rainy, slightly windy weather, watching 3v3 soccer. We had umbrellas, and at least there was one of those canopies to stand under. It was still miserable.

This is Mia's answer to keeping away the cold.

Doesn't look too happy, does he? He couldn't get to the car fast enough. He was soaked to the skin and freezing half to death. When we got in the car, I had him take off his shirts and wrapped him in a dry sweatshirt and blanket. We rode home with the heat on full blast. He got right in a hot shower when we got home.

It's a great day for a blanket, a couch, and a good book.
