Mimi and Pompo gave both of them these beautiful religious medals. Thomas' has Saint Sebastian...the patron saint of athletes.
Mia's has Mary on it.
Sydney, Jonathon and Mimi.
Our plan for today was to go to the Pumpkin Fest in Hartsburg. We drove down there, but when we found out we'd have to park AT LEAST 2 miles away, we decided not to stay. Thomas needs basketball shoes....basketball starts this week, so we went to Columbia. None of us had eaten, so we first stopped at IHOP for "breakfast" at 12:30.
I could tell Thomas wasn't feeling too good. We went to Dick's and got his shoes, and he said, "I have to sit down." Uh-oh. Here we go. Is he getting what Mia had last week? We went over to the mall so I could run in for just a sec and he stayed in the car. When we came out, he was sound asleep. I had gotten a thermometer at Target, since I didn't have one. His temp was just 99.2. We got home, put him straight to bed with a big glass of ice water and by 5:30, he was 101.1. It doesn't seem to be kicking his butt as much as it kicked Mia's, but looks like I'll have a stay-home buddy tomorrow. Hopefully he can kick it soon. Keeping my fingers crossed.
