Yep, I'm pretty sure I could get used to pedicures. In fact, if I could afford it, I'd probably get one every week. Something tells me I better not go get a professional massage...something I've never had, but desperately want. I'd probably have to work an extra shift or two, just to support my new addiction. As for the pedicures, this nurse's feet deserve them. Right? Yep.

I was about 2,000 miles overdue for an oil change on the Kia, so I took it in today. I was told that I was also due for the 35,000 mile service....which included, I don't know, a bunch of stuff that they recommend at that point. "How much is that?" I asked. I gulped and said, "No, not today, thank you, " when the guy quoted me $5oo+. That's not gonna happen anytime soon. They're lucky I bring it in for oil changes and tire rotations.

Thomas went along with me today. At first he thought he'd just stay home, but when I told him I'd buy him lunch, he changed his mind.

We had a good time. Haven't spent the day with just him in a long time. He needed a new pair of soccer cleats (again) so we got that taken care of. Luckily we got a $70 pair on sale for $4o. I'll take it!

We were completely out of everything and had to go to Walmart for groceries. I HATE grocery shopping. I used to love it....when I was first out on my own, as a newlywed, etc. Now these people living in my house with me, each with at least one hollow leg, seem to eat the groceries faster than I can buy them.

We had a crazy week at work this week. LOTS of deliveries, and the coming week promises to be just as busy. There'll probably be lots of opportunity to pick up extra time. Question is....will I be willing to drag myself in to work extra? I picked up an extra 12 hour shift this past week....we shall see.
