I'm totally convinced that this is true after what happened at the game on Tuesday night. As I said, I got the whole thing on tape. (Still going to have to figure out how to post it on here.) Anyway, I had bought my digital camcorder last late winter/early spring. Loved it, loved it, loved it. My old camcorder was starting to act up, and I decided to go ahead and go digital. So in May when the battery went dead on the new one, I plugged it in to charge it. Guess what? It wouldn't charge. I was so aggravated with it. Kept thinking, maybe I wasn't using the right adapter...I must have 20 of them for various electronic things, so I tried all the ones I could find. I got frustrated and put it in the box to deal with later. Several times since May, the last time I used it, I've picked it up, again and again trying to figure out why it wouldn't charge...to no avail. So Monday afternoon I saw it sitting there, with a gnawing feeling that I HAD to get that thing working, since Thomas is now playing middle school basketball and we need some video of that. Once again, I picked it up, closely studying the manual and it occurred to me......DUH!!!!!.....I was putting the adapter plug into the AV port and not the battery port!! I felt soooo stupid. Once I got it plugged in right, it charged right up. Imagine that. I had charged it up a few times before...don't know what I was thinking, putting it in the wrong port.
So, that all being said....the VERY next night was the "amazing at the buzzer shot," that I got on tape!!!! I'm thinking the Lord works in mysterious ways. I am so thankful that I was able to capture the moment on tape. I even took the camera with me to work yesterday to live the moment over and over again with several of my co-workers. I was told by one of them that my screams on the tape sounded like my head was being cut off, and that I might have a career in horror movies.
