Sunday Soccer

Thomas asked me today, in the car on the way to soccer, "How many goals you want today, Mom?"

"Two," I replied.

Little did I know that he would come through for me, scoring 2 in the second game!! Had I known that, I would have asked for a few more, and then we would have won our second game. We lost the first 0-3, and the second one 3-5. The fields were still pretty wet. It may take a week for his cleats to dry out, and his socks, shorts and jersey might prove to be stain-removal challenges.
