Thomas has been bugging me to open the pool. I think it's a bit early, but I might do it next week. I'll have to go to Vaughn's and get chemicals. The pool cover has quite a bit of water mixed with dead leaves on it. YUCK. I'll have to throw the little mini pump into it and siphon it off before we can pull off the cover. This will be our 3rd summer with the pool. Though it does take time to maintain it, it might just be the best thing I've ever purchased. I look forward to lazy summer days just floating around on an air mattress, either dozing or reading a book. The kids are looking forward to having friends over to swim.

We are planning our summer vacation to Florida again this year. We are considering Disney instead of Destin. Pros of Destin? Lazy vacation, lots of beach time, shopping, great food. A much more relaxing vacation. CHEAPER. Pros of Disney? MICKEY!! Fun rides, shows, and just the magical experience. Will let you know what we decide. My friend Jen just got back from Disney and I've been looking at her (1000+) photos from her trip, which currently have me leaning toward Disney. We'll see....

It's a beautiful day today, though it looks like it might rain. I'm supposed to work the concession stand at the baseball game at 5. Found out this morning that Mia has a rescheduled soccer game tonight at 6. It will be her first one. I'm going to see if mom can come relieve me so I can go see her game. Yet another instance where, as a mom, it would be nice if I could be two places at once.

Sydney and I had a girl's night out Saturday and went to see "Baby Mama." HILARIOUS! I was reprimanded several times by Sydney for laughing too loud. Thomas was at a friend's birthday party and Mia wanted to go to Amy's, so it was just Sydney and I.
