We started 7 v 7 soccer on Wednesday evening. I was dreading it all day, because of the heat. It turned out not to be so bad, as the sky was hazy, so we didn't have the direct sun on us. The second game, at 7:15, was actually quite pleasant to watch, since there was a nice breeze blowing. Too bad it can't be like that every week.

Thomas' team lost both their games, the first one to Rock Bridge 3-2 (Thomas scored!), and the second one to Jeff City, something like 5-1.

And guess what? His soccer cleats don't fit. We thought they were going to be okay when he put them on at home. He complained of them feeling tight, but we just thought it was because he hadn't worn them since November. After playing in them in the game, though, we determined that they really are too small. Looks like we'll be shopping for cleats this weekend.
