Class Reunion

Mia's class from last year got together over break for a skating party. Their student teacher, Mr. Stark, now teaches in Maryland and was here visiting his family, so with the help of Ms. DeVore, Mia's teacher from last year, they planned the reunion.

They had a great turnout, but, unfortunately, one of the girls broke her arm. I was supposed to be that girl's ride home. When I arrived at the skating rink at around 8:15, several kids, including Mia, came running up to me and told me all about it. Skyler was evidently trying to help one of the boys up and he fell again, on her, and she broke her arm. Mia said, "Mom, I never want to see another broken arm." I guess it was pretty ugly. Poor girl.
