Last night after we got home from the soccer games, I was sitting at the computer (Facebooking) and commented that I was starving. I had gone from work, straight to the soccer games and hadn't eaten since lunch. Mia said, "I'll make you something," and went into the pantry and rattled off several choices. I chose spaghetti in a can. She was happy to heat it and serve it to me. (By the way, Great Value brand spaghetti and meatballs is REALLY good.) Thomas was also hungry and she heated some left-over fried chicken for him in the microwave, all while emptying the dishwasher and straightening up the kitchen WITHOUT being asked. (LOVE that girl!) Thomas is on the couch, icing down his sore foot, and she takes his chicken to him, and heads back to the kitchen.
Thomas-"Ow! This plate is hot. Muh, (he calls her Muh, she calls him Tuh) can you bring me a towel?" She takes him a towel. Back to the kitchen.
"How about a fork, Muh?" She takes him a fork, goes back to the kitchen.
"What about a paper towel, Muh?" She gets a paper towel, takes it to him and mumbles, "I'm on a fast track to motherhood."
I nearly choked on my spaghetti.
