Last Saturday Thomas had another double header. We won both. Thomas scored a goal in the first game.
Taking a break between games.

Isn't this house beautiful? It is about 100 years old, and located in Wooldridge. Saturday evening I photographed the wedding of Christy and Sam. Christy is a girl I scrapbook with. I was thrilled that she asked me to take their wedding photos. Christy's grandparents used to own this house. It is now owned by someone else who was gracious enough to let the couple hold their wedding here.
The house was absolutely beautiful on the inside. The owner said it is truly a work in progress. Christy said she used to play Barbies on these stairs as a little girl.
I was not prepared for how dark the inside of the house was. There were a lot of lower light chandeliers in the rooms, so lighting was a challenge. Had to play around a lot with my flash.
This is the world's best photographer's assistant. She was a huge help to me. The reception was down the hill and across the road from the house. When I discovered at the reception that I had left my extra batteries in the car (parked up by the house), Mia raced up there in record time and got them for me. You're the BEST Mia!!!

This is just a tiny sneak peek at the photos. I'm still doing some editing and the couple hasn't seen them yet.
Their first dance as husband and wife.
I'm a sucker for little girls in pretty dresses. This is Addie, the couple's daughter. She is such a sweetheart. She was the flower girl. When she saw her big sister down the hill waiting for her, she took off running toward her. It was precious.

Monday I had the pleasure of taking engagement photos for Lisa and Nathan. Nathan is the son of one of my co-workers. The day was a bit overcast, but I think I got some pretty good shots for them.

Lisa's son Elisha came along and we made it a family photo shoot as well.

This one is my favorite. As we were taking these, the security guard for Shelter Gardens walked up and told us not to climb the trees.
