Today was dress rehearsal for Mia's dance class. There were sheets hung up in the studio for backdrops so we could take pictures, too. I'm really sorry that the guy who has done professional photos for us for the last 10 years isn't doing them this year. For the life of me I can't find my big flash for my camera, so these photos leave a lot to be desired. The close-up ones aren't too bad. I'm going to try to take some better ones of her here at home with my black back-drop and studio lighting.
She's getting so excited about the show on the 20th. She even has "solo" where she dances up front by herself since they have an odd number of girls and in one part of the dance they have partners.
We stopped at Walmart after dance. We were out of everything and the kids kept saying, "There's nothing to eat." Let's just see how long it takes them to eat all these groceries. Not long if I know my kids. I cannot imagine what it will be like to feed Thomas in the coming months. He seems to be a bottomless pit. He eats a lot and sleeps a lot. I feel a growth spurt coming. I have friends who have 2-3 teenaged boys...how on earth do they keep them fed?!?

These are great! Mia looks adorable. I totally hear ya on the keeping the teenage boy fed. I don't know how we're going to do it, either... although we've got a lot more time to plan. I guess we'll tell them we can't pay for college because we had to keep them fed.
