The triplets are here! Mama bird is a little more used to us now, and doesn't fly away every time we go in and out the patio door. Last night I looked up at the nest as I came out the door and she was perched up there, looking down at me. We have the pool ladder standing there so we can sneak a peek whenever we want. Thomas is adamant that no one touch the nest... he says the mama won't come back if she smells "human" on it. The look on Mia's face was priceless the first time she looked in the nest and saw the babies.

Mother's Day was great. My beautiful girls came home from Columbia with a dozen yellow roses and a card for me. We all went out for dinner at TGI Friday's.

I got the winter cover off of the pool. No pool water mishaps this season...the cover held up. I guess you get what you pay for...I had spent a little more on a better cover. The water isn't crystal clear, but a light green. I started putting Burn Out in it last night, so it should be clear in a couple of days. The hose is going and I'm bringing the water level up to where it needs to be. I wanted the pool to be ready for the kids by the time they get out of school next week.
I can't believe tomorrow is Sydney's last day of high school. Warren is taking her to Chicago for the weekend. They are leaving right after she gets out of school tomorrow. Next week on Tuesday and Wednesday are the senior trips. Worlds of Fun one day and St. Louis the next. In St. Louis I think they are going to the arch and then to a mystery theater production, and then a BBQ. Last night I helped her pick out photos to put in the senior slide show. Something about that really made me have a knot in my throat and an ache in my heart.
