Just on a whim, Thomas asked yesterday if his friend Nate could come over this morning and then go with us to the soccer games. Little did Nate know that he would be recruited to play today. He used to be on our team, but plays for another team now. Apparently we were short players today and with him had JUST enough. Luckily, the coach had extra shin guards and socks in his truck, and Nate just wore Coach Tom's jersey.
Our first game was against a team with several other Ashland kids on it. Today's games were make-up games. This team was undefeated....until today. The rumor was going around that the coach for their team didn't really want to reschedule this rained out game, because he didn't want his team to embarrass us by beating us really badly. We won 4-3. It was awesome.
Mia, me, and some gals from Boone at an all day scrapbook crop in Wooldridge on Saturday. Jen, on the left is my scrapbook idol. Her pages are amazing and she is so artistic. It was a fun day and I got several pages done, including some posters for advertising the dance recital in June. I had signed up to help with publicity, so this was a perfect opportunity to make posters.
