Stations of the Cross

Pontius Pilate condemns Jesus to death.


Jesus is given the cross to carry.

Jesus falls.

Jesus meets his mother.

Simon is forced to carry the cross for Jesus.

Veronica wipes Jesus' face.

Jesus falls a second time.

Jesus speaks to the women.

Jesus falls a third time.

Jesus is stripped of his clothes.

Jesus is nailed to the cross.

Jesus dies on the cross.

Jesus is taken down.

Jesus is buried in the tomb.

He is risen.

This evening we went to St. Peters to watch Thomas' CCD class perform a "still life" presentation of the Stations of the Cross. Warren had told me last evening that I needed to bring my camera to it....I was working yesterday when they rehearsed it at Wednesday evening religion class and he was there for that. I'm so glad I had my camera. I had no idea what I was in for. It gave me goose bumps, and brought tears to my eyes.
