Christmas Eve the kids and I went to church at 8PM. I was determined NOT to stand in the back of the church like we did last year, so we left early....TOO early...because when we got to St. Peter's, the parking lot had about 3 cars in it. We got "the pick of the pews" and sat for 45 minutes before mass started, but at least we were sitting!!!

Christmas at the Blanchard house was very layed back and quiet. We got up (the kids got me up) at 8 and we opened our gifts. Then we played Guitar Hero and enjoyed our gifts until about 10:30 or 11, when the kids headed over to Warren's for more festivities. I spent a quiet day at home, reading on the couch, doing laundry, and dozing off. I think the kids got home around 10PM or so.
