Thomas had a friend over and they both got in the pool with Mia yesterday afternoon. The boys practically begged me to let them walk up to the city pool, but I told them we have a perfectly good pool here. "But Moooom, we don't have a diving board." Well, I was able to talk them down and they swam in our pool for about an hour before Nate had to leave.
After time in the pool, they came in and played the Wii. Yes, I caved. I bought them one on ebay...and I must say, it's quite entertaining! It just cracks me up to think if someone looked through our window and saw all the crazy exaggerated movements my kids and I are doing when we play...they'd think we were all losing our minds if they didn't know we were playing Wii.
Ten more days until Sydney's recital and Elizabeth and Paul's wedding. It is going to be such a busy weekend..wedding and recital on Saturday, family reunion on Sunday, as well as packing for vacation. We leave Monday the 23rd out of St. Louis.
Twelve days until we leave for Florida. We are getting so excited. It will be the kids first time flying...Thomas and Mia are a little nervous about it. We are so looking forward to lazy beach days, rest, relaxation and great food. Not to mention the photo opportunities! I plan to take some of Sydney's senior (oh my gosh...she's a senior) pictures on the beach.
